I first got in to Internet Marketing in 2005 joining the sales team of a web agency. This gave me a good understanding of how websites are built, developing online strategies for businesses whether starting without a website or improving the strategy of a current website through SEO and Google Adwords. SEO was very different back then.
in 2007 as a result of a buy out of this company by an ecommerce platform the role ended up changing to offer an ecommerce platform to online businesses. This gave me extensive experience planning and implementing online shopping strategies for businesses of all sizes from website development to customer acquisition. SEO was starting to change at this point with Google wanting to improve their search results and the start of the now very common algorithm changes.
After a spell working for the Yell Group in online marketing I joined my second web agency. I took on the role of SEO consultant in 2010 responsible for developing SEO campaigns for businesses looking to increase market share. This ranged from small local businesses up to national and international brands. By now SEO was starting to become what it is now with content being key and good quality, relevant websites linking to your own.
Early in 2012 I decided to take the plunge and work on a freelance basis and have been ever since. I manage a wide range of customers, some looking for local traffic others looking for national traffic using high competition phrases. By keeping up to date with changes in the SEO world and modern techniques I am perfectly suited to take on your SEO project whatever your business size or market.
